Archaeologist

• Northampton, United Kingdom, Northamptonshire [...] training staff at all levels in order to develop individual capability and enhance career prospects, with opportunities for internal advancement and promotion, as well as developing specialist skills. Recent highlights from our Northampton office include a large Anglo-Saxon settlement and cemetery, Neolithic burials, extensive Iron Age and Roman settlements, and part of a Medieval manorial complex. We have several exciting projects of all sizes, covering different types of archaeology, ongoing or due to start imminently. Our teams are currently working on infrastructure, residential and commercial developments. Examples of projects include: A project with Multi phased archaeology in East Anglia. Iron age settlement sites in Northamptonshire The role primarily involves excavating and recording archaeology of various periods on a range of site and project types, in line with MOLA procedures. Training may be provided to monitor machining on site, to use GPS to record archaeological features, and there may be opportunities to contribute to post-excavation processes as well.
