This role combines deep knowledge in Gastroenterology, medical affairs, and leadership to provide expert guidance to the Gastroenterology business. Key responsibilities include leading medical strategy development, supporting the global leadership team, and integrating diagnostic and therapeutic technologies to improve patient access and clinical outcomes. The GLMAG will engage with global stakeholders, such as physicians, payors, and health systems, while ensuring the perspectives of both patients and providers are central to the decision-making process. Advocate for Gastroenterology business needs in MSA strategy, SOPs, training, and infrastructure. Collaborate with cross-functional teams: Engage with teams like Medical Safety, Infection Control, Legal, Finance, HR, etc. Contribute to promotional material reviews: Provide clinical insights to ensure alignment with current medical practice. Provide medical/ scientific input to Business Development, R D, and marketing strategies. Minimum Requirements Medical Doctor (MD) degree with several years of demonstrated independent clinical practice experience. Gastroenterology Fellowship Trained and Board Certified is a must-have.
