Responsibilities: Define Product Requirements, Roadmaps Benchmarking: Gather, analyze, and consolidate market trends, regulatory needs (FMVSS, GDPR, UNECE R155/ 156, ISA, Euro NCAP, etc. ) , and customer expectations into clear product definitions while conducting market research, competitor analysis, and benchmarking to identify key differentiators across EU, North American, Indian, and other markets. Cross-Functional Coordination Regulatory Compliance: Ensure product definitions align with system architecture, engineering constraints, and user experience goals while bridging global teams with local markets. Guarantee compliance with EU NA regulations, balancing innovation and legal requirements, and integrating regulatory changes into product roadmaps. Voice of Customer (VOC) Feature Prioritization: Translate customer feedback and user research into prioritized features and product specifications. Process Standardization Documentation: Develop structured methodologies for product definition, including requirement templates, feature matrices, and decision frameworks.
Visualization Communication: Create compelling presentations using tools like Power Point, Figma, Visio, or Miro to communicate concepts, trade-offs, and roadmaps effectively. Alignment with HQ Localization: Adapt platform solutions to meet regional market demands while ensuring a seamless global strategy. Support Product Development Lifecycle: Ensure smooth transition from concept to execution by working closely with R D, UX/ UI, and validation teams to align product definitions with final implementations. Your profile: Degree in engineering, marketing, or psychology and 3-8 years of experience in product definition, product management, or systems engineering within the automotive or mobility industry. Ability to benchmark competitors, analyze market trends, and define product differentiation strategies, with experience in Voice of Customer (VOC) methodologies and
data-driven decision-making. Proven ability to work across vehicle functions and global teams to align product requirements with engineering, business, and regulatory needs, alongside strong stakeholder management skills in an international/ multi-cultural environment. Ability to create clear, structured, and visually compelling presentations for internal and external stakeholders using tools like Power Point, Figma, Visio, Miro, or similar. Fluent in English (written and spoken) ; German is a plus. Ability to interface with headquarters while adapting solutions for European North American, Indian, and other markets.
