Deputy Chief Inspector (P G)

This role provides a great opportunity to take on a key leadership role that provides strategic oversight, management and support to the Chief Inspector, Petroleum Gas to deliver the inspectorates regulatory and operational services in line with RSHQ strategic vision. The successful candidate will need to demonstrate: Strategic leadership of a multi-disciplinary team. Experience in providing high-level strategic advice to executives and decision makers. Ability to build and maintain the trust, cooperation and contribution of team members to identify improvements and implement them. As the Deputy Chief Inspector, you will support the Chief Inspector in fulfilling their statutory role and duties under the Petroleum and Gas (Production and Safety) Act 2004. You will also oversee inspectorate compliance and enforcement, working with the inspectorates Compliance Committee and leading the Compliance Officer to ensure regulations, standards, and codes of practice are appropriately administered by the inspectorate.
