Overview We are looking for a Plasma Diagnostician to manage the operation, maintenance, calibration, and experimental data analysis activities of diagnostics for ST40 spherical tokamak. The role will further include the design, procurement, technical development, and implementation of future diagnostics to be deployed on ST40 or next generation spherical tokamaks. The candidate will ensure that instrument design is complete to meet the functional, safety and quality requirements as specified by the project. Responsibilities Take ownership of the technical development of assigned diagnostic systems, data acquisition and analysis. This includes, but is not limited to, tasks such as electrical circuit design, FPGA programming, and related activities.
