electronics mechanic, installs, overhauls, maintains and repairs a variety of electronic components, mobile equipment, related devices and equipment of tanks, tactical engineering equipment, water purification units, Reverse Osmosis Water Purification Units and/or other tracked combat vehicles. Electronic items serviced are not combined and interrelated with other electronic equipment and complementary devices. As such performs the following typical tasks: 1. Conducts inspections, diagnoses malfunctions, and troubleshoots to determine cause. Determines whether equipment may be economically repaired or declared unserviceable. Prepares unsatisfactory equipment reports or items failing repeatedly, specifying the nature of the fault and the materials necessary for repairs required. 2.
