Effect Assessment: Analyse the potential environmental impacts of cosmetic ingredients. Fate Assessment: Investigate the fate and behaviour of cosmetic raw materials in the environment. Model Development and Application: Adapt existing models to meet the specific requirements of the cosmetics industry or develop new models to assess the safety and environmental compatibility of our products and their ingredients. Collaboration with Universities, Suppliers, and Associations: Foster close collaboration with universities, suppliers, and associations to gather and assess information on ingredients. This includes jointly evaluating, developing, and establishing new methods to ensure that we remain at the forefront of the industry. Team Collaboration: Work closely with team members specializing in Hazard Assessment, Risk Assessment, and Risk Management to ensure comprehensive safety evaluations. Documentation and Reporting: Prepare detailed reports and documentation on assessments conducted and their outcomes. Your Profile Education: Bachelors degree in Chemistry, Environmental Sciences, Toxicology, or a related field. A masters degree or Ph. D. is advantageous. Professional Experience: Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in the environmental assessment of chemicals, preferably in the cosmetics or related industry, e. g. , household and cleansing products. Modelling Competence: Experience in using exposure, effect, and fate models and the ability to adapt and develop such models. Regulatory Knowledge: Familiarity with relevant regulations and laws in the cosmetics and environmental protection fields.
