Designer, you will be responsible for designing and optimizing Points of Interest (POIs) and world composition in a procedurally generated environment. Your work will focus on creating engaging locations, maintaining world balance, and ensuring procedural content feels handcrafted while supporting exploration and gameplay depth. This is not a traditional level design roleinstead, you will define rules, structures, and tweak procedural logic to generate compelling game spaces. Responsibilities Design and implement POIs, biomes, and world logic within a procedurally generated system. Establish guidelines and modular structures to ensure variety and
narrative depth in procedural content. Balance resource distribution, enemy placement, and environmental challenges. Collaborate with AI, content, and systems designer to integrate NPC interactions, quests, and world events. Analyze player exploration data and refine generation parameters to enhance engagement. Requirements 3+ years of experience in world design or procedural level design. Ability to create dynamic exploration loops and meaningful environmental storytelling. Knowledge of game balancing principles related to survival, resources, and difficulty scaling. Strong understanding of procedural generation techniques is a plus.
