specialist geospatial information and analytical support to the Pastoral Unit, leaseholders, and external clients. Using GIS technologies, including mobile, desktop, enterprise, and cloud-based options, youll provide expert advice, develop
mapping solutions, and ensure that geospatial data management aligns with departmental objectives and legislative requirements. Key responsibilities: Collaborate with the Pastoral Unit, Pastoral Board, and external clients to capture and interpret business requirements and provide tailored geospatial products. Develop authoritative geospatial data and mapping services that meet land management needs and support government priorities. Deploy configurable web-based mapping tools to streamline processes for the Pastoral Unit, leaseholders, and other stakeholders. Provide project support and technical guidance to ensure success in geospatial analysis and mapping projects. Lead training efforts on departmental geospatial standards and systems, offering informal support to your colleagues and clients.
