We are seeking a Legal Counsel-Compliance Europe (m/f/x) to join our team at the earliest possible date, based at either our Sailauf or Munich location. Under the direction of the Chief Compliance Officer, provide legal subject matter expertise to support Magnas Global Ethics and Legal Compliance program; provide project management, leadership, and oversight on significant European regulatory matters. Work closely with Magnas Internal Audit, Data Privacy, external legal counsel, and other functional experts, including assisting in project management and coordination on regulatory [...] antitrust, sanctions/ export controls, and similar regulatory requirements. Who we are looking for: L. L. B. degree, with a license to practice law in a European Union country; minimum of 5 years of legal practice at a law firm and/or in-
house. Experience advising on litigation, regulatory, and internal investigations. Pragmatic, self-starter with strong problem-solving ability to identify core issues and come up with practical solutions that effectively balance legal compliance with advancing our organizations strategic goals as well as the immediate needs of our business units. Strong communication and presentation skills, including the ability to tailor your message to your target audience and communicate complex issues clearly and persuasively. Ability to build solid relationships and to influence and build consensus across a diverse group of business people with a wide array of professional backgrounds, including executive management.
