No Essential Functions:-Cleans and disinfects patient rooms, floors, offices, conference rooms, equipment, furniture, common areas, and waiting rooms following hospital-approved infection prevention standards.-Performs high level cleaning in specialized areas such as clinical areas, surgical suites, cath lab, specialty rooms, and sterile areas without direct supervision.-Serves as a resource for external and internal department team members on environmental services matters.-Provides input on department processes and training materials, and provides suggestions for improvement.-Collaborates with multiple departments to ensure patient and department priorities are met day-to-day that result in the safest outcomes for our patients and customers.-Uses proper personal protective equipment and cleaning procedures specific to infectious elements in isolation rooms.
