Lab Job Summary Works under the direct and general supervision of Dr. Milstone, and in accordance with established hospital policies, in a laboratory investigating changes in the cardiac microvasculature that occur during long COVID and epigenetic inheritance of metabolic disease risk. Conducts routine experiments to acquire, manage and analyze digital image files of biologic specimens using established methodologies. Calculates, transcribes, and analyzes data using basic statistics. May perform literature searches under the direction of the supervisor. Qualifications 1. Under general supervision, performs routine tests following established methodologies including immunostaining fixed (detoxified) human and animal tissue and tissue sections, obtaining bright field and fluorescence digital images of stained specimens, and managing the resulting digital image files for analysis and archival storage. 2.
