low latency communication Development of new transmission schemes, protocols and cross-layer optimizations and support contributions to relevant standardization bodies for 6G Implementation of prototypes involving simulations and machine learning techniques to optimize for latency, reliability, and energy efficiency What you bring to the table You are a student in Communications/ Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or similar fields at a German university Basic knowledge of signal processing, communication and LTE/ 5G PHY/ MAC layer procedures A good understanding of mathematical concepts Basic knowledge in programming, e. g.
