Clinical Fellow-CEMIG

CEMIG has a national and international reputation as a highly regarded BSGE Endometriosis Centre with a track record of high quality care and academic output. Numerous previous fellowship post-holders have gone on to become Consultants working in Endometriosis Centres and advanced laparoscopic surgery. The post-holder would work alongside the existing team of three Consultant Gynaecologists, ATSM Deanery Fellow, Endometriosis Specialist Nurse and a wider team of colorectal and urological surgeons. Core responsibilities would include attendance at regular theatres, pelvic pain clinics and Endometriosis MDT. It is expected that the post-holder contributes to Quality Improvement projects and to the wider academic output of the team including work submitted to National and International programmes including the ASMs for BSGE and ESGE. The role also includes contribution to all duties on the middle grade O G rota and candidates must be ST4+ equivalent as per the RCOG training matrix.
