Programmer (m/f/d) (based in Germany, UK or South Africa) Responsibilities You actively participate in setting up electronic data capture systems and forms (eCRFs/ ePROs) for clinical trials. You create databases, program edit checks, develop custom reports and integrate data from and into external sources. You are responsible for performing and supporting system validation activities. You ensure quality and timely delivery in your projects, and, if required, serve as the technical contact person for customers during the eCRF implementation phase. You will contribute to the ongoing development of eClinical Data Management SOPs. You design and conduct training sessions on Clinical Data Management for both internal and external study teams. Qualifications Minimum of a Bachelors degree (preferably in an information or data science field) . In-depth knowledge and experience with databases and database structures (Oracle/ MySQL) . Proficiency in at least two programming languages, such as Java, Groovy, C #,
PL/
SQL, Python, R, or SAS. Interest in clinical research within a regulated work environment. Experience in clinical data management in the pharmaceutical industry or a CRO is a plus. Ability to quickly learn new systems and adapt to an evolving technical environment. A customer-focused and solution-oriented approach with high quality standards. Experience with EDC systems such as Rave, Veeva, Clincase, or similar systems is an added advantage. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a team-oriented attitude.
