The Role Tesla is looking for a highly motivated Manufacturing Engineer to Design new High Pressure Die Casting Lines and Facilities. This will include Specifying and Laying out new Equipment, such as Melt Furnaces, Die Cast Machines, Trimming Stations and Finishing lines. In addition to specifying and procuring equipment, there will also be numerous items, e. g. fixtures, to design and fabricate in-house. The responsible Engineer will then follow up the Fabrication, Installation, Integration, Commissioning and Ramping the Lines to the point of hand over to a Sustaining Production Operations organization.
