editorial intern, you will gain hands-on experience in the development of instructional materials, digital assets, and higher education course content. You will work closely with development and media editors to support course design and content creation, helping to shape learning experiences for students and instructors. This
internship provides an opportunity to engage with key aspects of educational publishing, including content audits, competitive research, and the preparation of both digital and print learning resources. This internship offers valuable exposure to course design, educational publishing, and the evolving landscape of higher education content development. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Assist with digital asset content development, including interactive learning materials and multimedia resources, ensuring content is well-structured and aligned with course goals Assist development editors in manuscript assembly and preparation for production Assist media editors in building media assets to create digital courseware Assist with permissions and production logs, tracking content rights and usage Conduct title-specific competitive research to assess market trends and inform content development Compile errata [...]
