Scientist in Upstream Process Development (m/f/d)

• Freiburg im Breisgau, Baden- Württemberg Jobticket [...] in developing and optimizing biotechnological manufacturing processes for the production of biopharmaceuticalsfrom the initial idea through the design and execution of experiments to the final analysis. You will develop and optimize bioreactor processes and subsequent process steps, such as cell harvesting and filtration, to continuously improve the efficiency and quality of our production processes. You will support the implementation of new systems and technical equipment from a process engineering perspective and ensure optimal process conditions. For the evaluation of experiments, you will file the process data in a structured way and use suitable data analysis methods to derive and visually present valuable insights. You will document the results of experiments and complex development projects in a suitable way (e. g. reports, presentations) and summarize the most important conclusions in a concise way. You will accompany the scaling and transfer of manufacturing processes and be on site as the person in plant at CDMOs to ensure smooth implementation as a process expert. You will keep an eye out for new technologies, evaluate their potential, and help to integrate them into our processes to drive innovations.
