Ensure that technical aspects of the projects consider the projects commitments to external stakeholders as well as compliance with local regulations; Assess and ensure project impact and value creation against strategic directives. Deliver value creation (lowered LCOE) and revenue enhancing benefits through standardisation and innovative solutions. Provide regular updates and high quality reporting on allocated projects to management, stakeholders, steercos, and governance bodies. The successful candidate for this role will be degree qualified in Engineering or a related field, with additional project management certification well regarded. You will need at least 10 years of proven experience managing and delivering complex renewable energy projects, including project planning, execution, risk management and stakeholder management skills. Technical expertise is critical, including in-depth knowledge and expertise in renewable energy technologies, such as solar, wind and battery energy storage. Strong understanding of regulatory frameworks and compliance requirements specific to the renewable energy industry, including permits, licenses, and environmental regulations will also be required, as well as experience in evaluating and selecting appropriate technologies for renewable energy projects, as well as integrating and optimizing these technologies within existing systems and infrastructure.
